“The previous state management has done a good job and successfully developed the mountain rescue organisation. We want to continue along this path. It is important to us to create the best possible framework conditions for the local offices for their work and operations. Digitalisation and securing funding for Mountain Rescue Tyrol are important priorities in this regard.”

After 3 periods, the previous state director Hermann Spiegl was no longer available to head the Tyrolean Mountain Rescue Service. His deputies LH Anton Mattle as 1. deputy state director (5 periods) and Stefan Hochstaffl as 2. deputy state director (one period) also did not stand for re-election.
