State manager, district manager and expert lecturers form the state committee

The state committee is the leading panel of Mountain Rescue Tyrol, it adopts all rules of procedure and guidelines. It decides on the creation or closure of local offices. Furthermore, it decides on changes of local offices and its operation boundaries and makes strategic decisions of major importance.

The state committee is made up of the state director, district manager and expert lecturers.

The state management is responsible for the operational management and administration of Mountain Rescue Tyrol.

The state management consists of the state director, 2 deputy state directors and the financial manager.

The state director represents Mountain Rescue Tyrol externally. He is authorised to conclude contracts and business transactions with third parties and acts in the name and on behalf of Mountain Rescue Tyrol.

The deputy state directors fulfil the duties of the state director when he is unavailable. Representation duties and agendas of the state director are divided up.

The financial manager monitors the financial management of Mountain Rescue Tyrol. He manages current assets and foundations, prepares the budget and is responsible for the annual financial statements.

In addition to the members of the state management, the 9 district managers and the expert lecturers are also represented on the state committee.

The district managers are the link between the local offices and the association management.

They have to represent the interests of their local offices in the state committee but must also ensure that the decisions of the state committee are publicised, explained and enforced in their local offices.
