Project goals

Strengthen cross-border institutional cooperation between mountain rescue organisations and coordinate cross-border rescue operations

Develop common methods for the introduction of new technologies and processes

Create a pilot area to test new technologies and corresponding deployment protocols

Develop IT applications and IT support to better help people in mountain distress and to sustainably improve cooperation between mountain rescue services in border areas. This collaboration is also to be promoted beyond the duration of the project in order to test new technologies for optimising the rescue chain efficiently and cost-effectively.
