There were several injured and trapped people in the mountain station who required medical treatment. In addition, people were trapped in the gondolas and required rescue.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the exercise was to train the emergency teams in a realistic scenario, as operations of this kind are not an everyday occurrence.
