Information on the Insurance Period<\/strong><\/h3>

Insurance coverage begins at 00:00 on the day following receipt of the membership fee and ends at 24:00 on December 31 of the same year.<\/p>

WHY DOES MOUNTAIN RESCUE TYROL NEED SUPPORTERS?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mountain Rescue Tyrol is an association-based rescue organisation specialising in alpine emergencies.<\/strong> Every mountain rescuer must pass a rigorous selection process and complete comprehensive basic training to ensure the highest physical and technical standards. Despite serving on a voluntary basis, ongoing training is mandatory for all members.<\/p>

Before every deployment, it is essential to ensure that all equipment is not only available but also in perfect condition. This includes checking expiry dates of medical supplies, monitoring the usage and age of ropes, carabiners and harnesses, and ensuring that emergency vehicles are fully operational. All equipment is continuously inspected and maintained to guarantee readiness at all times.<\/p>

The administration of 91 local units, around 4,600 members and nearly 3,000 operations per year, as well as the organisation of basic training, involves a significant workload that cannot be managed on a voluntary basis alone. For this reason, a dedicated team of professional staff supports these tasks.<\/p>

To finance all of this, operational funding alone is not sufficient. Mountain Rescue Tyrol therefore relies on the support of sponsors and supporting members. Despite generous contributions from the State of Tyrol, rescuers must still finance their personal equipment themselves, while local units depend on additional funding from municipalities, tourism associations and donors to maintain full operational readiness.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
